Pu-lease….

I hear so many people say Religion is the cause of so much of the world’s problems…I get it like everyone else but come on, it is also the cause of so much good in the world. The problem arises when people, for purely selfish reasons, interpret and manipulate religion into their own warped view of the world.

It becomes reactionary, it becomes divisionary and it fills with hate.

I am a Christian, plain and simple. My mother is a southern, conservative Baptist, my kids are Catholic and I see wrong in most of what they are preaching.

Notice the big, mass hysteria over the transgender bathroom issue? Where was that 2 years ago when nothing has changed during that time frame? Religion, like politics, in a lot of ways needs hate, needs a big-bad-boogey man to survive.

It is like when the caveman harnessed the power of fire. I wasn’t there but I am absolutely sure there was another caveman that witnessed it and denounced it as witchcraft and ended up throwing stones at him. It is the lack of understanding, it’s the fear of something or someone different.

Why do people hate something in which they do not understand? It’s not like transgender women are forming gangs out raping and pillaging… It is simply ignorance, it’s the leftover prehistoric genes that compel people to condemn things of which they do not understand. Yes, ladies and gentlemen and trans boys and girls, its witchcraft.

And religion has jumped on the boogeymen bandwagon in hopes that their congregation will dump millions into their coffers to fight this strange and befuddling monster because “We will turn your children gay.”

And it works.

Still, the Catholic religion does not allow for you to question the Pope, the Pope said it, he must have spent months or years of studying, contemplating, even praying on the issue and God has told him, being transgender is wrong.

Bullshit, check your dress Mr. Pope, you are dressed like a woman. (Sorry I had to throw that in there) but I regress, let me start quoting the scriptures and begin by the kkk-like extremists favorite bible verse.

Leviticus 18:22: " Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." Leviticus 20:13: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them

Well, okay, that is pretty clear, gay people are an abomination, we get it…but wait is there more to Leviticus?

How about the oft-forgot Leviticus 11:12? Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Whoa…there is that abomination word again, so that’s pretty clear, shrimp eaters, oysters, claims, all that yummy stuff, yep they are going to hell also…If you aren’t worried yet let me continue.

Leviticus 19:27 anyone? Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

Okay, some people hate personal grooming, maybe they are safe from the fires of hell, but wait, at some point even the most homeless looking of people need to get the hair out of their eyes. Not looking good folks.

Leviticus 11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

Bacon? Really? Bacon is a sin…dang, okay some people do not like bacon, ham or pork, but really?

Notice I am only quoting Leviticus so far? I am curious as to where all the violence is against the clean cut shrimp eaters is, I mean they are, as the bible puts it, an abomination.

So let’s recap to this point, straight people who do not shave, cut their beard, eat seafood or pork are all safe from hell, shew that sounds like, well very few people I know but still my sick sense of humor forces me to continue…

Exodus 20:10 - But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates:

Okay, these last 4 bible verses that I have quoted pretty much puts 99.9 percent of Christians in Hell…

That must explain:

Romans 3:23- For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

And the most forgotten yet, most important verses in the bible… and strangely enough it comes from the New Testament (which is, well, the only real bible for Christians)

Matthew 7:1-5 “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

So why are these verses of the bible not quoted as much as Leviticus 18:22?

Let me break it down for you…First the Old Testament is not a guide map for Christians to get to Heaven, it is a historical piece used to document pre-Christian antiquity. Everything changed when Jesus Christ was born- EVERYTHING.

Christians no longer believe that you go to hell for eating a ham sandwich or taking a trip to the barber shop and I hope they no longer think it is okay to sell your daughter into slavery but they DO believe that Leviticus 18:22, for some strange reason, is the only verse that belongs with Christ’s teachings (in which Jesus was absolutely silent about) You know, probably because Jesus taught love and preached kindness.

Are you still following me? Because really, this is where it all comes together.

Why?

Well the answer is humorously simple really…

It is human nature to believe you are the superior to other genetically similar species and this is one thing that allows the intellectually inferior to tout I am better than someone, somewhere and god has given me the right to condemn gay people. People have been doing it for as long as there have been people, men are better than women, Christians are better than Jews, white people are better than black people, straight people are better than gay and everyone is better than the Irish…Damn, these clowns are running out of things to look down on, even so…

I kind of feel sorry for those brain dead creatures because eventually their kind are going to die out, just like the last roaring dinosaur caught and being drug down into the La Brea Tar Pits, eventually that subspecies of racist, bigoted, ignorant fools will go extinct and this last war they have declared on, what they consider a “lower class” of people, will be over and they will go down in history as have taken the wrong side.

And onto a more lighter note, I would have loved to thrown a bunch of bible verses out there about being transgender but, well, back then you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the way women, men, heck even the pope dressed so really I got nothing…

And one last thing, for those people that still think transgender girls should use the men’s room for safety reasons….well, until you demand, what historically has proven to be a much more significant threat to our children and their security, that priests and politicians use separate restrooms… please do us all a favor and shut the fuck up because you are making yourself look like a fool.

On second thought, never mind, sometimes your stupidity makes me laugh.
